Jim joined our team after retiring from 19 years of teaching Math in the community. He is an Army veteran; during his service, he intercepted Russian Morse Code for the US Army and Iraqi Morse Code during Desert Storm. Jim grew up in the Lafayette area and graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree and Indiana Wesleyan with a Master’s degree.
Jim has two boys: Tyler, who is 25 and an investment banker in Chicago, and Cody, who is 17 and a junior at West Lafayette Jr/Sr High School. Jim spends most of his free time chasing Cody to sports practices and games or traveling to Chicago to visit Tyler. He enjoys Purdue events, dining out, reading, exercising, and traveling—usually to a new destination that includes all of the aforementioned indulgences.

Cathy began her Real Estate career in 1974 after graduating from Purdue University in home planning and working in the building industry. After raising her three children, she returned to Coldwell Banker Sycamore Realty in 1989. Putting heavy emphasis on further education led Cathy to break several national, top-producing records. In 1998, she established her own Real Estate Agency—Cathy Russell Team Real Estate. A graduate of Purdue University, Nikki finds energy in showing clients the best that Greater Lafayette has to offer. An accomplished saxophone player, Nikki loves to bring the team mentality she learned as a symphony musician to the workplace. Passion, enthusiasm and loyalty are the hallmarks of Nikki’s service. Nikki enjoys good times with great friends, the sound of a jazzy music playlist, spending time with her crazy Yorkie named Bella, playing golf, and just about anything with an engine.
